EVENT DETAILS FOR SATURDAY, OCT. 31st, 2015, 4-9 PM

The Greater Tularosa Foundation is organizing a community event to be held on Saturday, October 31st on two blocks of Tularosa’s historic Granado Street! We will have a variety of free games for kids, trick-or-treating at Granado St. businesses, a “trunk-or-treat” area, and costume contests for all ages. We will also invite food vendors, merchants, artists, and non-profit booths (please see the vendor & non-profit booth sign-up form).

TRUNK-OR-TREAT!

The Extended Trunk-or-Treat Sign up Deadline is now Monday, October 26th at 5 pm!

The Halloween on Granado Street event will have a trunk-or-treat area and a contest with prizes for the most creative trunk-or-treat set up!! You must sign up to have a trunk-or-treat display at the event and sign an agreement related to food/candy safety (fill out and sign the waiver that's in the attached Vendor/Booth form and mail it to the listed address). Also, you can fill out the online trunk-or-treat pre-registration form above to temporarily reserve your spot until you send in your signed waiver. Thank you! We are excited to see your creative trunk-or-treats!

VOLUNTEERS!

We still need additional volunteers for the Halloween on Granado Street event! We are looking for volunteers to hand out candy, to do set up and clean up, to help with game booths and decorations, and to be part of the Zombie Alley. Sign up to volunteer through the volunteer form link button above.

IMPORTANT NOTE: all volunteers must attend an advance preparation meeting on Saturday, October 24th at 2 pm at 311 Granado Street in the grassy area. After meeting at 311 Granado Street, we will go through final planning for the event. Volunteers, if they have not done so already by the 24th, will have to sign liability waivers and terms and conditions forms related to safety standards, etc. Kids under 18 will have to have their parents sign parental release forms for the kids to volunteer. We will have these forms available at the meeting on the 24th and next week on Granado Street. Thank you to our wonderful volunteers! Don't forget to sign up through the link above!

FOOD REGULATIONS & SAFETY

Pre-packaged and unopened candy that has been sealed by a licensed food company and that meets health code safety standards may be given away at the event by organizations and people who have signed the health and safety terms and conditions. No food or drink items may be sold at this event unless you have registered with us as a food vendor and have complied with all laws, licensing, insurance, permits, & health department regulations. No homemade food or homemade drinks may be given away or sold unless you have signed up as and have been approved as a food vendor.  Let's make this a safe, great, and fun event!

SPONSORSHIP DETAILS

Sponsorship donations will help cover the large insurance costs for the event, publicity around Otero County, contest prizes, set-up/clean-up materials, and other related costs. Any remaining proceeds from the event will benefit the Greater Tularosa Foundation, a non-profit 501 C3 organization that is working to improve historic downtown Tularosa. We can’t hold this event without sponsors. Thank you for your support!
